Inventory Management Spreadsheet Template

Instructions:

This inventory management template is designed for use in a small retail operation. It allows you to track and manage your inventory efficiently. You can use this template in a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or any other similar software.

Item Details:

  • Enter the item’s unique identifier (SKU or barcode) in Column A.
  • Describe the item in Column B.
  • Specify the category of the item in Column C.
  • Note the supplier’s name in Column D.
  • Record the purchase price per unit in Column E.
  • Enter the selling price per unit in Column F.
  • The current quantity on hand is entered in Column G.

Inventory Updates:

  • Use Column K to specify the reorder point for each item. This is the level at which you should reorder to avoid running out of stock.
  • Column L calculates the “Reorder Quantity” based on the difference between the reorder point (Column K) and the available stock (Column J).
